There is a certain amount of uncertainty in the summer of 2021. That includes how in which our service to the society will incorporate the highly valued connections between people as Rotary members have experienced during previous times. While the adage of 'hands in faces will certainly continue to be a component of our program, it's clear that trust is growing and more face-to-face connections are happening. But Rotary is changing. As we approach the weeks leading to summer 2021, there's still a lot of uncertainty regarding how we will provide service to the community that includes the valued human connection valued by Rotary members of old. The mantra "hands face space" will become an integral part of our routine It's evident that there is a growing confidence and a desire to connect face-to face. Rotary's changed. Rotary is a network that helps build lasting relationships. We've honed our methods of holding meeting online for business while introducing service and social activity in a safe face-to-face format. These new options have been combined with the best practices for preventing pandemics to help create a brand new and promising outlook for Rotary. It's encouraging to know that 75 percent of Rotary clubs plan to continue their "business regular" routines. This summer the majority of Rotary members have been out in public focusing on various tasks, such as beach and river tidy-ups and trash pick-ups. Listen to the report below. In a Rotary survey that was conducted in the past, it was rewarding to discover the fact that 75% the clubs had plans for their regular activities and projects which had previously helped communities throughout Great Britain and Ireland. Additionally, I am happy to see that the Rotary Support Team has continued to provide invaluable tools to help promote and assist with these projects. Also, they manage infrastructures which keep their members safe as well as ensure the safety of the general public. Insurance and compliance is crucial. It is incredible to see how members of our club have developed innovative solutions for some of the most difficult issues. I'm so grateful to be a part of the team. Rotary gave me the chance to join in 2002. Rotary has provided me, just and many others an extensive network of like-minded, trustworthy people from whom I've formed genuine relationships over the past 20 years.
